  30.   The NT3.51 upgrade that I got (from a box house, as you say) was on CD-ROM.
  31. It came with upgrades for Intel, PowerPC, MIPS and DEC Alpha architectures.
  32. On my CD there are subdirectories called i386, ppc, mips and alpha. I cd into
  33. the alpha directory and run winnt32.exe. (Might be in a further subdirectory,
  34. I don't have the CD at this location...)

  36.   Yours came ONLY on floppy? I would suspect that in a floppy-only situation
  37. they'd conserve floppies by just sending one of the architectures, probably
  38. Intel. See if the outside of the packaging specifies which flavor you have.
  39. You might have to take it back and exchange it, perhaps for a CD version.
